Meet Pastor
Samuel and Sophia Kasango
My name is Pastor Samuel Kasango
married to Sophia Kasango. Sophia is born in Germany and a Nurse by
profession.
I was born on April 12th 1964; I have three brothers and two sisters. I became a Christian when I was 22 years old that was in
1986, I joined a local church where I was disciple and I got deeply involved in
prayer and evangelism. 2 years later the lord led me to go to Youth With A
Mission, an international Christian Organization to undergo a
discipleship-training course. I stayed with Youth With A Mission for 4 and a
half years during which time the lord was developing a leadership and pastoral
ministry in my life.
During these four and a half years on staff with Youth With
A Mission, I was involved in Evangelism doing school ministries and a lot of
Aids awareness programs. This had a music dance and drama approach which was
very effective. During the same time with the evangelism tea, we had a European
tour where we visited Germany, England, Spain and Switzerland.
In 1992, I left Youth With A Mission Base and started a music
dance and drama gospel team called Heart Song. In 1994, I led this team back to
UK for 3 months evangelizing and ministering in different churches.
In 1998, the lord led me to plant a church in Jinja City
center. To date the church has grown to over 500 people and we have planted 15 other
branches in the rural areas.
The church is called Jinja Christian Center. The
registered name of the organization is All Nations Christian World Outreach
Ministries. All churches and projects we do are ministries under this
organization. We are fully registered and recognized by the government of Uganda
as an NGO.
